Materials and Craftsmanship
Our luxury bathroom vanity units showcase exceptional attention to detail, combining quality materials with skilled craftsmanship to create pieces designed to last.
Metal Framed Vanity Units
Our metal frames are handmade from industrial steel and available in premium finishes including gold, industrial steel, and black with the Hugo vanity unit offering a discreet glass open shelf. Each metal-framed unit is carefully engineered to safely bear the weight of our basins whilst maintaining structural elegance. All metal-framed vanity units are powder-coated to ensure they are water-resistant and resistant to corrosion.
Surface materials include white quartz, Carrara quartz, granite, glass, and solid wood, each selected for durability in humid bathroom environments.
Wooden Vanity Units
For those preferring natural warmth, our wooden vanity units are expertly made from American tulipwood crafted in the UK, offering concealed storage. Our painted timber vanity units undergo a meticulous four-stage spraying process – two primer coats followed by two top coats, using a 10% sheen Italian lacquered paint that offers far superior durability to standard shop-bought finishes, ensuring a lasting, refined appearance.
Surface materials include white quartz, Carrara quartz, granite.
Styles and Collections
Our unique collection of vanity units brings together a carefully curated selection of distinctive designs, each with its own character and purpose within the bathroom or cloakroom.
The Felix Single Vanity Unit introduces a contemporary, industrial aesthetic, handmade from durable steel and offered in a choice of finishes with complementary surfaces. Designed to work harmoniously with our porcelain basins, Felix can be specified in bespoke sizes, making it well suited to bathrooms where proportion and flexibility are essential.
For a more traditional look, the Archer Single Vanity Unit offers a classic shaker-style design with a gently curved base and generous storage capacity. Made in the UK, Archer features solid oak dovetailed drawers, soft-close fittings, and brass knobs. It can be produced in bespoke sizes and finished in any Farrow & Ball or Little Greene colour, with a choice of durable surfaces.
The Huxley Single Vanity Unit brings a stronger furniture presence to the room. Crafted from solid oak and finished in black with subtle distressed detailing, it stands on elegant legs and includes doors and drawers for concealed storage. A black granite surface and brushed brass handles add depth and contrast, making Huxley a confident choice for both bathrooms and cloakrooms.
Our vanity units reflect a balance of modern and traditional styles, allowing you to choose a design that suits both the space and the wider bathroom scheme.
Identifying the Perfect Vanity Unit
At The London Basin Company, our dedicated team is on hand to guide you through the process – whether over the phone or in person at our Chelsea Harbour showroom.
Before exploring customisation options, it’s important to measure your space and identify the dimensions available. This will help you select the most suitable vanity unit from our collection. All of our vanity units are freestanding, making them ideal for both small cloakrooms and larger bathrooms alike.
Consider the number of basins you require and the level of storage needed to determine which model best suits your space and lifestyle.
Single Vanity Units are designed to accommodate one basin and work beautifully in smaller bathrooms, en suites, and cloakrooms, offering a considered design solution even in compact spaces.
Double Vanity Units are suited to medium and larger bathrooms, designed to accommodate two basins with ample storage for towels and everyday essentials.
Mini Vanity Units provide a space-saving option for cloakrooms and smaller bathrooms where floor space is limited, without compromising on quality or style.
Customisation and Made-to-Measure Options
Many of our luxury vanity units can be tailored to your exact specifications, though customisation options vary depending on the design.

Installation is straightforward – simply position the unit in place and connect the plumbing.
Plumbing access is thoughtfully incorporated into our designs, with options for rear or floor drainage connections.
