Everything You Need to Know About Our Unique Vanity Units

FAQs

Wooden vanity units bring a natural warmth and quiet elegance to the bathroom that other materials rarely match. From compact cloakroom designs through to larger family-sized configurations, our collection balances practical storage with refined, considered design, so everyday essentials stay out of sight while the space feels genuinely considered.

A number of our styles can be customised in colour, surface finish, and hardware, so the finished piece feels personal to the room it lives in rather than off the shelf. Whether your bathroom calls for something classic and decorative or clean and contemporary, here is everything you need to know.

Below, we answer some of the most frequently asked questions to help you choose the perfect option for your home.

Our wooden vanity unit collection covers a range of styles, each with its own distinct character.

The Huxley draws on classic Chinese wedding cabinetry for a refined, antique-inspired aesthetic, finished in black with subtle distressed detailing and brushed brass handles. The Archer vanity unit takes a more contemporary approach, a clean interpretation of the timeless shaker style that works equally well in modern and traditional interiors. The Ellis vanity unit also feature reeded fronts and scalloped detailing, adding texture and a quietly individual character to the space.

The Archer and Ellis are both available in fully customisable finishes, with paint colours from the full Farrow & Ball and Little Greene ranges, a choice of worktop surfaces, and handles in polished nickel and bronze.

Both. The Archer and Ellis undermount versions are configured specifically for undermount basin installation, while the rest of the collection is designed for countertop basins.

Yes, select styles can. The Ellis and Archer, in both countertop and undermount versions, are available in any Farrow & Ball or Little Greene paint colour, with a choice of White Quartz, Carrara Quartz, or Black Granite worktop surfaces, and handles in polished nickel and bronze. Each unit can also be produced to any height, width, or depth required.

The Ellis and Archer are made from painted Tulipwood and Hydrofugo. The Ezra and Huxley are crafted from painted high-grade oak.

Yes. Both the materials and the finish are chosen specifically for bathroom use, so each unit performs comfortably in humid conditions without compromising on its appearance over time.

For Archer and Ellis, the lead time for production is six to eight weeks. If you are working to a specific deadline, please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

For all other wooden vanity units that are in stock, we typically require two to three working days to cut and prepare your surface before dispatch.

Yes. We can prepare and drill all required basin waste holes and, where needed, holes for deck-mounted taps. Please provide basin and tap details at the time of order, or get in touch once your order has been placed so we can agree on positioning before the work is carried out.

Wipe surfaces regularly with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, pH-neutral cleaner. Harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, and bleach-based products are best avoided as these can affect the painted finish over time. With regular, straightforward care your vanity unit will stay looking as good as the day it arrived.
